Savanna Lakes Community Development District
The Savanna Lakes Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on June 27, 2022 by the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida, Ordinance 22-16 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The Savanna Lakes CDD encompasses an area of approximately 242.68 acres, located north of Milwaukee Boulevard and west of Homestead Road South in Lee County, Florida. The Savanna Lakes CDD expects to plan establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain additional systems and facilities.

The Savanna Lakes Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on June 27, 2022 by the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, Florida, Ordinance 22-16.
The powers and functions of the Savanna Lakes Community Development District are described in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes. Additionally, and with respect to Section 190.012(2),Florida Statutes, consent is hereby given to the District's Board of Supervisors to finance, fund ,plan , establish , acquire, construct, reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems, facilities, and basic infrastructure for: (1) parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural, and educational uses; and (2) security, including but not limited to ,guardhouses, fences and gates, electronic intrusion-detection systems, and patrol cars, both as authorized and described by Section 190.012(2), Florida Statutes. granting those special powers pursuant to Sections 190 012(2), (3) and (4) as well as the special powers for parks and recreation services and facilities and security services and facilities, pursuant to and 190 012(2)(a) and 190 012(2)(d), Florida Statutes.
